TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Health Guarantee
Spumanti Doberman will provide a health certificate with each puppy sold. Each Doberman will have a negative fecal. All puppies must be picked up in person by purchaser. There will be no guarantees given against communicable diseases once it leaves Spumanti Doberman, having been veterinarian certified and having no control over exposure to other animals.
Spumanti Doberman will guarantee the health of a puppy for seventy-two hours after leaving (excluding weekends). If a veterinarian examines the puppy within that period and finds that it has a life threatening genetic disorder, it may be returned. A signed veterinarian statement of such must be supplied. At our choice it will be replaced for another or a refund will be issued. Veterinary charges assumed during this period will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Any shipping charges incurred will not be refunded or covered by Spumanti Doberman in the case of a replacement.
Spumanti Doberman will replace a Doberman if it should die from a genetic disorder within its first year of life. A veterinarian certified necropsy must have been preformed, documented and provided to Spumanti Doberman for replacement. Shipping charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Spumanti Doberman will under no circumstances assume liability for any veterinary expenses incurred by the purchaser.
Spumanti Doberman will only honor our health guarantee if puppy is not spayed or neutered before 1 year of age.
Deposit and Balance Due
A $500.00 good faith deposit is required of all purchasers who will not take immediate possession. This deposit will be applied to the balance due and is not refundable. It may however, be transferred to the next available puppy of the purchaser’s choice. We require half of the purchase price once puppies are born and the remaining half due at pick up. Zelle or Check are accepted for deposit and first half down, remaining amount due at pick up must be Zelle or Cash. Personal checks will be accepted only as deposits and first half down. We won’t accept checks at pick up or immediate possession. Spumanti Doberman does not accept credit cards.
Pick UP
Pick up date is decided by Spumanti when puppy is 8 to 9 weeks of age.
Once pick up date and time is arranged, it is the purchasers responsibility for pick up.
Boarding Fee may be applied to Dobermans needing a different pick up date then original pick up.
If purchaser fails to pick up on arranged date; After 48hrs with no communication from purchaser, Spumanti Doberman can cancel sale and deposit is forfeited.
AKC Registration Papers
Spumanti Doberman will send the purchaser the AKC registration materials for the puppy purchased when a statement of altering has been received. A certificate of spay/neuter or an invoice statement of such from the attending veterinarian must be provided. Puppy’s AKC registered name is decided by Spumanti Doberman and can not be changed by the purchaser. Sold with limited papers.
Responsibility of the Purchaser
The purchaser agrees to provide a loving, safe and healthy environment for the Doberman. The puppy will be maintained as a completely inside dog. It will be fed a premium food. Won’t be altered before one year of age. Doberman is not to be used for breeding to other dogs and or from having puppies unless a show/breeder contract is listed within this contract. Yearly veterinarian examinations and vaccinations will be preformed. The Doberman should be kept free of parasites both internal and external. Purchaser will register microchip that has been provided.
Return Policy
This is a non-transferable contract. Purchaser agrees to notify Spumanti Doberman immediately should the purchaser for any reason no longer able or want to keep Doberman at any point in the Doberman’s life. Doberman will be returned to Spumanti Doberman to be retained, placed or resold at Spumanti Doberman’s discretion with no refund given. Under No Circumstances may the purchaser turn Doberman into a shelter or rescue or resell or adopt out or give away or rehome.
Dobermans Sold with Full Registration
Breeder/Show Dobermans are available to approved individuals with special terms. Upon acceptance as an approved (breeder/show) purchaser, contract details will be listed here.
All terms and conditions of a general sale will apply. By submission of payment, the purchaser agrees to these terms and conditions. These signatures constitute full agreement of both parties are legal and binding in all jurisdictions of Volusia County Florida. Any legal issues that may result from this contract are to be handled in the Volusia County Court system and both parties agree before any legal action is to be filed that mediation will be first before any legal court action. Signing below you agree you have read, understand and agree fully to all terms and conditions of this contract.
Contract Disclaimer and Term: If the Purchaser violates any term of this contract the Purchaser will pay Spumanti Doberman $3,000 for each term violated and or not followed in this contract.
