DOBERMANS, AKC DOBERMANS, DOBERMAN PUPPIES, DOBERMAN BREEDER IN FLORIDA

Welcome to Spumanti.

We are a small kennel located in Port Orange, FL. Here at Spumanti we strive to breed Dobermans that fit the DPCA (AKC) breed standard. Our dogs are genetically tested.  Our dogs live on 5 acres just for them, private VIP rooms and their own house. Our dogs and puppies are well socialized with people and other animals, we take pride in the training we do with our dogs. Please take a moment to visit our website. We welcome feedback and questions at all times.

Why Spumanti Dobermans?

Appearance: The appearance is that of a dog of medium size, with a body that is square. Compactly built, muscular and powerful, for great endurance and speed. Elegant in appearance of proud carriage, reflecting great nobility and temperament. Energetic, watchful, determined, alert, fearless, loyal and obedient.

Size: Height- at the withers: Dogs -26 to 28 inches, ideal about 27 ½ inches; Bitches- 24 to 26 inches, ideal about 25 ½ inches. Dobermans are to be square. Dogs should not be 100+ lbs and Bitches shouldn’t be 80+ lbs. Our girls are 65-75lbs and our boys are 85-95lbs.

Low-maintenance coat: Smooth-haired, short, hard, thick and close lying. Dobermans only need to be bathed once a month, nails should be dremeled weekly. Dobermans only come in black/rust, red/rust, blue/rust, and fawn/rust. Albino’s, White, Cream etc, Dobermans are not an approved color and go against DPCA standard.

Health: No matter what no breeder can save a doberman from DCM but a good breeder should be doing any and all tests they can to help breed dogs that are healthy from DCM at the time of breeding and have a better idea of who and who not to breed together. DCM is the biggest health issue for dobermans at this time.

Training is a MUST: Is required with their high intelligence, a doberman can and will train you if you don’t train them. They also need separation time from you and crate training is key or you can make a monster who will harm them selves if training isn’t done right. Seek a trainer if you are unsure.

Intelligent & trainable — Dobermans learn quickly when trained properly, making them great dogs to excel with any discipline you desire to do with them.

  • Overall, the combination of their unique looks coupled with a trainable personality makes the Doberman one of the best choices when looking for the right dog!

We do not condone or support the breeding of the 'white'/albino Doberman as it is a genetic mutation.
